Kayaking Montage

Montage Project:
Kayaking is an activity that my family and I have gotten into this past summer and greatly enjoy. To me, kayaking is a relaxing experience that allows for family bonding as well as an escape from the chaos of everyday life
I created this image by layering a transparent photo of the river with over banking trees ontop of the image of the two kayaks on shore. I then created a mirrored pattern along the bottom using a photo of lined up paddles. Once the pattern was completed, I used the eraser tool to take to sky out of the image leaving just the paddles emerging into the other two images.

    I just went kayaking for the first time this summer and it was awesome. its so relaxing. especially before sunset.

    this looks really awesome. Is the pattern on the bottom made from the picture of the Kayaks?
